Howie Brown (Dempsey) is excited to make his debut with Iron Age Theatre! Recent credits include: Everybody Loves Opal (Montgomery Theater), First Impressions with Tony Braithwaite (Act 2 Playhouse), Bus Stop (Montgomery Theater), The :nv:s:ble Play (Phila. Theatre Workshop), Few Good Men (Ritz Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (PA Shakespeare Festival), Funny Thing…Forum (OCPops), and The Fantasticks (Kimmel Center). Look out for Howie in 2011 when he channels his inner Ed McMahon to Tony Braithwaite’s Johnny Carson and Alex Bechtel’s Doc Severinsen in Heeere’s Tony (Act 2 Playhouse Feb. 2011) and the return of First Impressions (Hedgerow Theatre march 2011). By day, Howie is the General Manager for Philadelphia Theatre Workshop and a Directorial Assistant/Improv Instructor at his beloved alma mater, St. Joseph’s Prep.
Anthony M. Giampetro (Molumby) Anthony returns to Iron Age Theatre after a four-year hiatus. Favorite roles include Willie Sutton from Tunnel, Mountain McClintock from Requiem for a Heavyweight, Chief Bromden in the critically acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, & Lennie from Of Mice & Men. Anthony was last seen in Iron Age’s production of The Diviners in the role of Rev. Showers. Anthony has performed with the Philadelphia Theatre Co., the Philadelphia Drama Guild, Philadelphia Festival Theatre and Villanova University where he received his master’s degree in theater. Anthony serves on the Board of Directors for Iron Age Theatre and is pleased to have worked with such a talented group of people since 1995. All of my love to Squirrel and Schmookie.
Rachel Semigran (Neyssa) has had the pleaurse of being part of the Iron Age family in Shakesploitation II: Iambic Boogaloo (Olivia, Juliet, Baronness). She has also performed in PROM (Amanda North) with New Paradise Laboratories, The Long Christmas Ride Home (Kuroko) with Azuka Theatre, Love's Labors Lost (Jacquenetta) with Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company, and Bluebird (Ensemble) with EgoPo. A recent graduate of Drexel University, her favorite productions include Red Herring (Mrs. Kravitz), Lend Me a Tenor (Julia), The Laramie Project (Various roles) and the Son of Arlechinno (Franceschina). She is also super pumped to be part of a new house team in Philly Improv Theater. Much love to my friends and family who support me no matter how brassy or bawdy my roles may be.
Ray Saraceni (Kearns) is an Iron Age regular, where some of his favorite roles include John Montrésor in THE INTERROGATION OF NATHAN HALE at Fort Mifflin, George in OF MICE AND MEN, and Amundsen in TERRA NOVA. Ray has also appeared with Theatre Exile, Philadelphia Shakespeare Festival Theatre and The Media Theatre. He has recently been awarded a Ph.D. in theatre history from Tufts University, with a focus upon the history of the Philadelphia stage. Ray teaches the Augustine and Culture Seminar at Villanova, and has also taught theatre at Lehigh, Temple and the University of Pennsylvania.
Luke Alan Moyer (Damon Runyon) is thrilled to be making his Iron Age debut. Luke graduated from Villanova’s Theatre Masters Program May of 2009. His credits on the Villanova’s Main Stage include Jamie in A LONG DAY’S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT, Pontagnac in LE DINDON, Vertumnus and others in METAMORPHOSES, and one of his truly favorite roles as Matamore in The Illusion. While at Villanova, Luke was the recipient of the Brian G. Morgan Acting Scholarship and received a KCACTF Irene Ryan Award Nomination. Since graduating, Luke has staged his own Solo Performance piece, The Hardest Working Man in Show Business, played various characters in Franken Festival, during the Philly Fringe, and also appeared as Sir Toby Belch, in Delaware Shakespeare Festival’s Twelfth Night.
Adam Altman (Jim Johnson/George Hills/Bill Wray/Fred Starr/Editor) This is Adam's 13th production with Iron Age, having performed in: THE REAR COLUMN, THE LIFE OF JOHN HENRY, SHAKESPLOITATION II: IAMBIC BUGALOO, CITIZEN PAINE, BIRDY, DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, SHAKESPLOITATION!, THE LONESOME WEST, WAITING FOR GODOT, FATHERS & SONS, THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, and A SKULL IN CONNEMARA. Adam holds a BA in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University and has also studied acting at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London. Currently: Readings of LADY WITH THE LAPDOG and CHEKHOV IN LOVE (Lantern Theater), CITIZEN PAINE tour (Iron Age). Most recently: Antonio in THE DUCHESS OF MALFI (The PAC). Other credits: MACBETH, TWELFTH NIGHT, ROMEO & JULIET, RICHARD III (Delaware Shakespeare Festival); THE SEAFARER (the Arden), THE FULL MONTY (Montgomery Theater); and PURLIE (Ritz Theatre). David Fiebert (Multiple Roles, Rickard, Stanton, Rankin) Dave studied acting at the Hedgerow Theatre in the late 70s and years later earned a Masters in Theatre at Villanova University. He has prefromed recently with Iron Age Theatre in DR JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, FATHERS AND SONS and as Vladimir in WAITING FOR GODOT. His credits include CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, ARMS AND THE MAN, ROMEO AND JULIET, FIFTH OF JULY, NIGHT MUST FALL, HAMLET, MACBETH, FRANKENSTEIN and DEVIOUS MEANS. Dave makes his living as a puppeteer.
Krissy Johnson (Maggie, Josie, Vendor, Muldoon) Krissy Johnson received a Bachelor of Music from Trinity University in San Antonio followed by a Master of Music in vocal performance from the University of Houston. She then moved to New York City, where she pursued a career as a professional singer and actress. Off Broadway credits include MURDERED BY THE MOB, FORGOTTEN BROADWAY, and THE WWOW RADIO MYSTERY HOUR. Regional Credits include HOUDINI at the Goodspeed Opera House, ZORRO, DAVID DANCES, and A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Burt Reynolds Theatre in West Palm Beach, Fl. A resident of the Philadelphia area for the past several years, she has performed with the Philadelphia Children’s Theatre in ALEXANDER, AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY; with the Centre Theater in MAN OF LA MANCHA, BIG RIVER, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, and FOOTLOOSE; with Iron Age Theatre in SHAKESPLOITATION; with Green Light Theatrical Production in LAST RITES; with Strawflower Productions in THE DOMESTICATION OF WOMEN; and with Bucks County Playhouse in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and FUNNY GIRL. In addition to musical theatre, she has performed with various vocal groups, including the Philadelphia Singers, Cantores, and as a guest soloist with The Masterworks Chorale.
