The Cast of Simpatico


Ray Saraceni is a frequent performer with Iron Age Theatre where he has been seen as Lou in The Speed of Darkness and Vinnie in Simpatico. Most recently he appeared as the Ghost/Player King in Philadelphia Shakespeare’s Festival production of Hamlet. Ray won critical acclaim with his performance as Roy Cohn in Angels in America. Ray has a Master’s Degree from Villanova University and teaches theater history at Lehigh University.



Anthony M. Giampetro, from Bryn Mawr, played Mountain in Requiem for a Heavyweight at the Montgomery County Cultural Center. He has acted at the Philadelphia Theatre Co., the Philadelphia Drama Guild, Philadelphia Festival Theatre and Villanova University. He appresed as Hoss in The Tooth of Crime. Anthony appeared as Chief Bromden in the critically acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Carter in the Philadelphia premiere of Simpatico.

Laurie Norton graduated with an M.A. in Theatre from Villanova in 1998. Prior to graduate school, she lived and worked in the Pacific Northwest, where her favorite roles included Abigail in The Crucible, Chris in Dancing at Lughnasa, and Patty in Season's Greetings. She received her B.F.A. in Acting from The College of Santa Fe where she was awarded the Greer Garson Award for Theatre Excellence and was a participant in the British-American Drama Academy exchange program. During her graduate years at Villanova, she appeared in The Art of Dining, In The Boom Boom Room, Angels in America (for which she was nominated for a Barrymore Award for the role of Harper), The Devil's Disciple, and Racing Demon. She was the 1998 recipient of the Brian Morgan Acting Award. She currently teaches Fundamental Principles of Acting here at Villanova. Her Philadelphia acting credits include: Simpatico, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Seventy Scenes of Halloween (Iron Age Theatre), The Invention of Love (The Wilma Theatre), Twelfth Night (Amaryllis Theatre), and Man Measure Man (InterAct).


T. J. Deluca has appeared in Iron Age's production of Simpatico and Theatre Exile's Belmonte Avenure Social Club in Philadelphia. he has acted in Deatn of a Saleman, Devious Means, The Gavone Family and People Talk. He has performed with the Swarthmore Players, Allens Lane Theatre and the Brick Playhouse.
